- 3 apples, unpeeled and diced
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
- .5 cup pecans, broken in small pieces
- .5 cup mini marshmallows (opt)
DRESSING
- .75 cup mayonnaise
- .25 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate
- Before beginning to cut apples, mix dressing ingredients in a bowl large enough to hold the finished salad.
- As the apples are diced, mix them with the dressing in the large bowl to prevent browning.
- Mix the remaining ingredients with the apples and dressing.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes: This is often considered a Fall recipe but is great any time of year. Although the marshmallows are optional, they add a great deal to the flavor of the dressing as they melt into the salad, providing texture and additional sweetness.
